A full consultation takes approximately one hour with a doctor and includes the following assessments:
- Detailed medical and family history including contraception, menopause and HRT
- Assessment of your mental wellbeing for stress, anxiety and depression
- Physical examination
- Height and weight
- Body Mass Index
- Blood pressure
- Breast examination
- Lung examination
- Pelvic examination
- Skin check
- Cardiovascular assessment including your blood pressure
- Urine test
- Nutrition and exercise assessment
After a discussion with the doctor, based on your clinical examination and future risk based on your past and family history, other tests are available for an additional fee:
- Biomarkers including full blood count, kidney, liver, diabetes, cholesterol, vitamin D, calcium, thyroid function tests
- Mammography
- Sexually transmitted disease screen
- Menopause screen
- Ovarian cancer screen
- Colon cancer screen
- Cardiovascular screen including your Q Risk Score. This is assessing your risk of having a heart attack or stroke in the next 10 years. In addition, you may need further testing such as: an exercise ECG, Echocardiogram, Coronary Calcium Scan

We would be looking particularly at your prostate, testicular, cardiovascular, hormonal and mental health including stress management. The Well Man Health Check includes a one-hour consultation with a doctor. The doctor will go through your health needs, and discuss any screening required tailored specifically for you. They will perform a full examination including your:

- Weight
- Body Mass Index
- Cardiovascular assessment including your blood pressure

- Bladder and prostate
- Testicular symptoms
- Skin check
- Urine test

Child & Adolescent Health Screening
Child Health Screening
Screening for potential health problems for your child is essential. We offer health screening from birth. The examination includes:
- Height
- Weight
- Body Mass Index
- Ear Nose and Throat
- Neurological

- Cardiovascular – including blood pressure (from the age of 8 years old)
- Gastrointestinal
- Spine
- Genitalia
- Skin
In addition:
- A detailed history of their immunisations is taken and can be given at the health check if required.

Adolescent Health Checks
During this transitionary stage of life, we understand that in addition to the routine child health check we must screen for mental health.
This includes assessing:

- Drug and alcohol intake
- Sexual activity or sexuality – if indicated
- Symptoms of depression, anxiety, eating disorder and other mental health disorders
