The Government has introduced a Test to Release programme to reduce the self-isolation period for international travellers arriving in England. Chelsea Medics are on the Government list of private providers.
By taking a COVID-19 rt-PCR test at a clinic on this list you can reduce your self-isolation period from 10 days to just five days if you test negative. The earliest you can take your test is a full five days after you left your international destination.
For example, if you leave a country on Wednesday morning and arrive in England on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday will be your first full day of self-isolation. You can take a test no earlier than your 5th full day of self-isolation, which would be Monday. You must continue to self-isolate while you await your test result.
The rules on international travel are constantly changing so please check the government’s website to find out which countries are on the travel corridors list.
